Neighborhood Clean-Up Days

One of the objectives of FSO is to clean up and beautify the areas of Ser’i Otrobanda. To realize this, the Foundation regularly organizes Clean-Up Days all over the Ser’i Otrobanda area to clean up vacant lots and streets. In this, it is important to stimulate the residents themselves to lend a hand in cleaning the areas where they live and to maintain the areas trash-free after the clean-up. The Music project

A Neighborhood Survey of Resident Needs in Ser’i Otrobanda has indicated that youngsters would like to see more activities in the neighborhood. Doing something with music was often given as a desired activity. Fundashon Ser’i Otrobanda wanted to create this possibility by guiding young people in this. And thus, about two years ago the Foundation commenced with a music project in which a group of about 10 youngsters started getting brass band classes.
